Collection: About the vineyard

 

The 10ha vineyard is sectioned into four distinct blocks, designated by their varying terroir and planted with varieties best suited to their site. The Bullock Block is the most northern of the four blocks planted with Shiraz. Continuing along the eastern ridge is newly planted Shiraz in the Southeast Melrose Block and thirty-year-old Shiraz in the Settlers Block planted with an unknown clone. On the Southwest corner over the central ridge, is the only Cabernet Sauvignon in the vineyard, planted in 1995.
